Refunds
Due to us having to pay site costs and organise menus well in advance of our events, player tickets are non-refundable if cancelled within 60 days of the event start date. If after this date you find you are unable to attend, you are welcome to 'store' the payment instead to use as credit for a future event within the next three years. If we need to cancel an event or move it to a date which you are no longer able to attend, a full refund will be given, but you can also choose to store the payment for a future event in lieu of a refund.

Terms and Conditions
By purchasing a Second Chance event ticket or attending an event, you agree to abide by our Terms and Conditions:
- Second Chance LARP accepts no liability for any loss or damage to persons or property unless directly caused by our own negligence.
- We also accept no responsibility for any injuries that may occur on events, especially those caused by your own negligence or stupidity. Please follow the instructions of refs and first-aiders at all times whilst attending an event and take reasonable care to ensure your own safety and well-being. A safety brief will be provided at the beginning of each event.
- Abusive, unpleasant or dangerous behaviour towards our refs, crew, players, site staff, or members of the public will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to remove you from an event if we find your behaviour to be unacceptable, and no refund will be given.
- We reserve the right to confiscate weapons, props and equipment from you after a warning if you are found to be using it in an unsafe manner. These items will be stored safely and returned to you at the end of the event.
- Before attending an event, if you have not already done so you must inform us of any relevant medical conditions so that we can ensure your safety and well-being, and so that if an accident happens we have all the information necessary to manage the situation safely. If you arrive on an event without bringing medication or equipment necessary for you to manage your condition (e.g. inhaler if required for asthma), you may be asked to leave if we feel that there is a risk to your safety by participating.
- By attending an event you agree to appear in photographs and have these photographs published on out Facebook group and website. If you have privacy concerns, e.g. for minors attending, please talk to a ref so that we can sort something out for you.
- We ask that all modern electronic equipment such as phones, cameras, mp3 players etc be kept out of all in-character areas whilst the event is in session as it detracts from the immersion of the other players. The exception to this is refs/authorised persons who are taking photos of the event. If you continue to use your phone or suchlike in the IC areas, despite being asked not to, we may ask you to leave. If you need to use a phone, please move into an out-of-character area such as the car park.
- We also ask that any persons attending but not participating in an event keep out of in-character areas whilst the game is in session to avoid disruption to the game.
- At least 7 days before the start date of an event, you must inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements (e.g. vegan, celiac, etc) if you have not already done so, so that we can organise the menus. pretty much all dietary requirements can be catered to, but we can't help if we don't know! We take all allergies 100% seriously, so extreme care will be taken to prevent cross contamination and separate utensils and pans can be used to prepare your meal if necessary. Please inform us of the severity of your allergy so that we can take the appropriate precautions to ensure your well-being.
- We reserve the right to bar entry to any would-be participant from our events if we believe there is appropriate reason to do so. We are not obliged to provide a reason, and so will not give specifics if there is adequate reason to do so (such as the safety of another participant).
- We will comply fully with any and all GDPR access requests and will provide all personal information held by us about you if requested, or will let you know that we hold no information about you. We would like to kindly remind participants that GDPR legislation does not cover spoken words or thoughts, and so we are under no obligation to tell you what others have said to us about you. If you are unhappy about this and wish to report us to the Information Commissioner's Office, we will provide our details so that you can go ahead, but they will most likely inform you that you have a fundamental misunderstanding of privacy laws.
- We have an advisory lower age limit of 14 at our weekend events due to mature themes and language (there is no upper age limit). Under-14s may attend at a ref's discretion with parental permission, but must be supervised at all times by a designated guardian over 18 years of age. If the guardian fails to supervise the minor properly, we may have to ask both of you to leave the event. Please keep in mind that we will not 'tone down' plot, content, special effects or language to suit a younger audience.
